You have seen the new Batmobile in broad daylight. Now you can have a chance to own a scale version, both as an RC toy and a toy car without having to plonk down hundreds of dollars. And you can even pick up the RC Bat motorcycle too if you so desire.
Spin Master and DC Comics have revealed a new line of Batman toys that includes an RC Batmobile and an RC Batcycle as they will appear in the new The Batman movie.
While the Spin Master The Batman Batmobile Remote Control Car (US$59.51) is not as incredibly detailed compared to Mattel’s, it is detailed enough for what it is with its movie-style sculpting and deco.
It is 1:20 scale and features an easy-to-drive remote control. The included 2.4 GHz dual joystick remote control recharges via USB and features out-of-range sensors, so you’d know to stay in range.
There is also a non-RC version scale to Spin Master’s 4-inch scale Batman action figure. The Spin Master The Batman Batmobile with a 4” Batman figure boasts over 15 sound effects and LED lights for an epic play.
The action figure has 11 points of articulation and comes draped in a cloth cape. Dramatic soundtrack not included.
If anyone’s interested, there is another non-RC Batmobile package known as the Ultimate Batman Set (US$92.33) that comes with a 4-inch scale “dirtied” Batmobile and three 4-inch action figures (US$83.94) that includes Penguin, Batman, and Selena Kyle.
Finally, there is the Spin Master The Batman Batcycle RC with Batman Rider Action Figure (US$29.99). Phew! Quite a mouthful, but it is pretty impressive. I can’t remember if there were any RC Batcycle. Were there?
Anyways, the RC Batcycle is based on Bat’s onscreen two-wheeler and it is pretty large at 1:10 scale. The cape crusader figure is not removable though, unfortunately.
Like the 4-wheeler, it comes with a 2.4 GHz dual joystick remote control rechargeable via USB and features out-of-range sensors. It will make for a nice collectible even if you do not like RC toys.
Both RC toys have a range of up to 100 feet (30 meters).
