Suzuki has finally taken the EV plunge with the e VITARA, an electric SUV that promises to power your adventures without leaving behind a trail of exhaust. Think of it as the familiar Vitara—but now it runs on electrons and ambition.

Built on the new HEARTECT-e platform, this SUV keeps things light, spacious, and safe. The battery options include a 49 kWh or 61 kWh pack, depending on how far you plan to go before panicking about charging stations. The smaller battery powers a front-wheel-drive setup, while the larger one pairs with the ALLGRIP-e 4WD system.
This dual-eAxle 4WD can redistribute power to the wheels that actually have grip—so whether you’re on snow, mud, or that questionable shortcut you swore was a road, the e VITARA’s got you covered.
Under the hood—well, technically under the floor—there’s a motor lineup ranging from 106 kW (142 hp) to 135 kW (181 hp), with torque peaking at 300 Nm for the AWD variant. For those who like numbers, it stretches 4,275 mm (168.3 in) long and 1,800 mm (70.9 in) wide, with 225/50 R19 tires giving it a sturdy, road-commanding stance.

Inside, Suzuki has gone for a “High-Tech & Adventure” vibe. The dashboard sports an integrated display that’s both futuristic and user-friendly, while the rugged center console adds a sense of durability fit for more adventurous drives.
The e VITARA will roll out in Europe, India, and Japan starting in the summer of 2025. As for the price, expect figures around €35,000 (US$37,600) in the EU market.
This electric SUV might not hum like a traditional Vitara, but it’s ready to turn everyday drives into something far more electrifying.
