What’s your impression of a backpack fit for hiking? Tough, cumbersome and takes a hell lot of time to pack? That’s the norm as it seems, but not if Swift from Taiwan design house Tronnovate can help it. Dubbed the “ultimate bag to pack and unpack in a second,” the Swift takes everything you know about a sport/hiking (basically, adventure) bag and throws it out the window, and completely reinvent a bag that super light, offers accessibility in a snap, and more importantly, makes packing a swift thing to do and also slashing the time you need to find stuff within the bag.
Slashing the time is kind of an understated feature because, when you are there on a slippy mountain side, you don’t want to be spending a second more to pull out something you need at that point in time. In a way, it is like the shopping bag for the wild. It can be compact into a super space-saving form and unfold to reveal a full-fledged backpack that is ready to swallow anything you need on the road or in the wild, or just in the gym. Unique to Swift is a “Zig Zag” zipper that reveal the entire innards in one swift pull. This same zip is also responsible for driving the bag into two parts, so you can effectively access the inside in any directions.
Other noteworthy features include zippered mesh pockets, access wings for quick access, and built-in drawstring bag that offers a safe haven to isolate items like laundries, shoes, et cetera. Swift Ultimate Bag by Tronnovate Design Laboratory can be found on Kickstarter where you can pre-order it for $62-64, depending on how soon you act on it. The campaign is already funded, so if you back the product, you can expect to see it at your doorstep sometime in July 2018. Catch product pitch video to see the bag in action after a few more looks.
