TAG Heuer and Porsche have recently unveiled a TAG Heuer Connected Watch Special Edition with Wear OS exclusive car functions. I know right. Finally, a cobranded timepiece that actually has real connections other than abstract aesthetics.
Not that it is no aesthetic reference to Porsche automobiles. It does. The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche Edition’s frozen blue is in fact inspired by the all-electric Porsche Taycan. It also touts advanced controls for Porsche owners too.
With exclusive Wear OS features, Porsche owners can dig into the information about their car straight from the watch face. While this isn’t the first timepiece from the two brands, the smartwatch opens up a whole new world for Porsche owners, offering them access to TAG Heuer’s ecosystem of exclusive sports, wellness apps, and elegant watch faces.
The aforementioned design inspiration is not limited to the hardware. The software features the same shade of frozen blue used in the all-electric Taycan. Moreover, users will be able to access an exclusive watch face only available to owners of the Porsche edition.

The watch also offers complications with information like car battery percentage, total mileage, et cetera, from compatible Porsche models. The 45 mm case is sandblasted black titanium, paired with a black ceramic polished bezel with a dedicated scale from 0-400, referencing to the Porsche car’s speed, before finishing off with details in a frozen blue metallic shade.
Meanwhile the case back, ‘TAG Heuer x Porsche’ can be found engraved around the LED heart rate sensor. Completing the package is a carbon-like black calfskin strap with blue stitching and a rubber base. A spare black rubber strap is provided with the watch.
Some of the spec-sheet details include Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear, a 1.39” OLED display (454 x 454 pixels, 326 ppi), 430 mAh battery good for about a day of use per charge, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, Galileo), flat sapphire crystal, 50-meter (about 164 feet) water resistance, and a bunch of sensors, including NFC, heart rate, accelerometer, gyro and more.
