Microsoft Cortana-enabled Harman Kardon Invoke Now Available For $200

For the longest time, Microsoft’s answer to Google Assistant, Apple Siri, Cortana has been largely relegated to the devices, such as laptops and more recently Skype on Xbox, that it was built into, but starting October 22, that changes when Cortana steps out of its familiar domains and into Harman Kardon Invoke. The Invoke, as you might have guessed, is the Redmond tech giant’s answer to Google Home, Apple HomePod and of course, Amazon’s long list of Alexa-enabled Echo devices. It is obvious Microsoft isn’t ready to build a standalone Cortana-enabled hardware yet and it is most definitely not going pick up just any third party hardware for Cortana; it picked one of the industry’s foremost leader in audio equipment maker, Harman Kardon, to kick off this foray. with so many makes and models of sound dock going around, it is certainly easy to find one that suits your budget and style. speaking of which, Harman Kardon has just introduced their latest addition, dubbed the MS 150 Music Station, which it thinks that you should be putting down $689.95 (MSRP) for it. frankly, it is not an out of this world pricing but still but as far as sound docks are concerned, this price tag just put them in the high-end sound dock segment. for this seemingly princely sum for a sound dock, you will get a pair of 30-watt loudspeakers with bass reflex technology, a slot-loading CD player and FM radio tuner with RDS supports. for the uninitiated, RDS technology allows datas like artist and song to be displayed, if the radio station you tune in supports it. when we heard wind about these premium buds – the AKG K3003 reference class 3-way earphones, we are generally very excited. not that anyone of us can actually afford its premium price tag of about £1,000 (about US$1,619) but it is the design that had us totally hypnotized. awhile back, we were teased with a short video which ends with a final render of the buds but we weren’t impressed until today when read and see more images of this pair of premium buds. earphones might be small but the housing crafted out from a single piece of stainless steel really took our breath away. we can’t say for sure about the sound until a proper audition is done but for now, most of us just can’t take our eyes off it.
