Tesla Cyberhammer Cybertruck-themed Sledgehammer

How much will you pay for a sledgehammer if you need one? I’d say probably not more than 40 bucks tops. But that’s what regular people do. There exists a group of people who will willingly part with 700 dollars for a sledgehammer and this group is the superfans of Tesla — specifically, fans of the controversial Cybertruck.

And yes, there is actually a hammer that costs US$700, or should we say “was” because all 800 units available are all sold out. That’s right. There are 800 people in the world who have willingly dropped 700 dollars for a hammer that is aptly called Cyberhammer.

The hammer was released to a wider audience in limited numbers to mark the Cybertruck unveiling when Franz used a sledgehammer to demonstrate how tough the stainless steel truck is.

The hammer is designed by Tesla Design Studio and it is made of steel and features a laser etching of Franz’s signature on the Cybertruck-inspired hammerhead. It does come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Oh, this sledgehammer is not designed for hammerwork. On the product page, it warns users not to strike hard surfaces with the Cyberhammer. It is intended for display or gym use. Oh, right. In case you haven’t been keeping up with the latest in the gym, sledgehammers are good as gym equipment. Yup. Already I can imagine the look of construction folks if they learn about this fact. Anyways, so yeah, Cyberhammer is real and it is sold out even though it costs US$700 a piece.
