Modeled after the Japanese Kiridashi craft knife, The Aleman Pocket Knife sports a compact fixed blade in a utilitarian aesthetic. The integrated ergonomic handle allows for a snug and sturdy three-finger grip while the flat blade for everyday tasks.
The Aleman Pocket Knife is made from 1095 high carbon steel and features an integrated bottle opener at the base of a “skeletonized” handle. It weighs a mere 60g (2.12 oz) and measures 14.3 centimeters (5.63 inches) with the blade taking 5 centimeters (1.97 inches) of the total length.
Each knife comes with a fitted leather sheath for safe carrying. To sweeten the deal, Origin Handcrafted Goods is offering free lifetime sharpening on all its blades. The catch here is, the shipping is on you.
Origin Handcrafted is having a pre-sale on Kickstarter where you can secure one The Aleman Pocket Knife of 130 Canadian dollars or more (about US$92, according to Kickstarter). As with any Kickstarter campaign, whether or not this stylish knife will materialize depends very much on the funding outcome.
