Good news, skateboarding enthusiasts who also love fingerboarding (that’s skateboarding with fingers). Hot Wheels has just launched an all-new fingerboard line – Hot Wheels Skate – in partnership with skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk.

Tony Hawk x Hot Wheels Skate, Wildfire Freestyle Deck & Fingerboard

To mark the launch of the line, Mattel has announced the Tony Hawk x Hot Wheels Skate, Wildfire Freestyle Deck & Fingerboard. In this novel collab, you’d be getting both a real, full-size skateboard deck as well as a matching finger-size skateboard.

There are only 100 limited-edition full-size boards to go around, each signed by Tony Hawk and based on his personal router template. In other words, it is rare and as far as the full-size deck goes, it’d be of the same exact measurements Tony Hawk aka Birdman used on his own boards.

The graphics on the belly of the skate deck features the “Birdman” logo with Hot Wheels flames. The full-size skateboard deck is without griptape and you probably want it that way because on the top is the Birdman branding.

Anyhoo, you probably won’t want to actually use it, let alone mount trucks on it. At least I know I won’t.

Tony Hawk x Hot Wheels Skate, Wildfire Freestyle Deck & Fingerboard is presented in special packaging and it will be available on July 29, 2022, at Mattelcreations.com, for US$350. Clearly, it is not cheap but the thing is, every purchase donates to Tony’s charity, The Skatepark Project. This not-for-profit project helps underserved communities across stateside create safe and inclusive skateparks for kids of all ages.
