I am not surprised that HasLab’s Tron Heroes of the Grid Collectors Set did not make it. For starters, the set is a little thin, and on top of that, it was based on the 1982 OG movie, which, to be honest, has been largely forgotten—thanks to the sequel that came out in 2010.
Hasbro must have picked up on that and decided to give fans these: Tron: Legacy Light Cycle Power Pack with 6″ Sam Flynn and Tron: Legacy Identity Collection Figure 4-Pack. Clearly, the former is the one that had me at hello, and I am sure it did for many sci-fi nerds out there. Keep going for the details.
Tron: Legacy Light Cycle Power Pack with 6″ Sam Flynn
The Light Cycle Power Pack recreates the final Light Cycle battle scene from Tron: Legacy, pairing a premium 6-inch (15 cm; it’s 1:12 scale, btw) Sam Flynn figure with the sleek black Light Cycle that pretty much defines the movie’s visual identity. The figure features high articulation and comes equipped with multiple interchangeable parts, including identity disc gear and Light Cycle trail effects that let you pose the vehicle mid-run instead of parked politely on a shelf.
Sam also gets a helmeted look for riding duty, which feels like the correct way to display him unless he is about to jump off the bike dramatically. Either way, the Light Cycle alone already makes this set feel like the centerpiece of the new rollout.
Tron: Legacy Identity Collection Figure 4-Pack
If Sam Flynn gets the ride, the rest of the Grid shows up here. The Identity Collection 4-Pack bundles Quorra, Rinzler, CLU, and Kevin Flynn into one very neon-approved lineup, all in 6-inch (15 cm) scale with detailed sculpting and articulation that finally gives Tron: Legacy characters the display presence they deserve.
The set includes a generous pile of accessories with interchangeable parts, alternate looks, and gear tied to each character’s on-screen identity, which is exactly what you want from a collector-leaning pack like this. If nothing else, finally getting Rinzler and CLU in matching scale feels long overdue.
