Some honest words before I get on with these exciting chairs from the Malaysian gaming chair brand TTRacing. They are not the best, IMHO. Having used the TTRacing Surge X Captain America Edition for a couple of years before getting a used Secretlab Titan EVO 2020, I must say the comfort and support are nowhere near Secretlab’s. But TTRacing wins in price points and also, One Piece. That’s right, fans of One Piece, rejoice! One Piece gaming chair.
This is not the first time One Piece has lent its name to gaming chairs, but I am pretty sure no predecessors will be able to beat TTRacing’s pricing and would you look at those colors! Anyhoo, TTRacing is going big with One Piece. It has not one, not two, but four models, each inspired by one of the key characters of the anime.
Kicking off the fleet is the TTRacing Maxx Gaming Chair Luffy Edition, followed by the TTRacing Surge X Gaming Chair Zoro Edition, and the TTRacing Swift X 2020 Gaming Chair Nami Edition. Finally, there is the TTRacing DUO V4 Gaming Chair Chopper Edition.
Keep in mind these gaming chairs are inspired by the OG anime, not Netflix’s live adaptation (which was superb, btw). That said, you can expect the colors associated with the characters on the chairs, and also, all chairs in this collection are wrapped in fabric. Why? I have absolutely no idea. More organic and thus befitting the pirate theme, I guess? I don’t know.
The TTRacing Maxx Gaming Chair Luffy Edition has a discounted list price of SG$449, which is just 330 USD. And it is the priciest of the four. Just imagine the rest. It is indeed super affordable. So given the price, I shouldn’t talk poorly about the Surge X but anyway, moving on…
The TTRacing Surge X Gaming Chair Zoro Edition has a discounted list price of SG$379 (around 279 USD). Meanwhile, the TTRacing Swift X 2020 Gaming Chair Nami Edition and TTRacing DUO V4 Gaming Chair Chopper Edition go for SG$279 and SG$199 (~ 279 USD and 146 USD), respectively. Unfortunately, the TTRacing x One Piece Gaming Chair Collection is only available in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
