When cats are done with doing business, big or small, their instinct demands that they cover up the spot, and it is this natural act that will sometimes send the litter “overboard”. This is what the Tuft + Paw Cubby Litter Box aims to address – keeping the mess in.
The Tuft + Paw Cubby Litter Box is a minimal and more affordable version of the Tuft + Paw’s best-selling Cove little box that minimizes mess with an 8” translucent wall. It is essentially the more expensive Cove but without the integrated scoop, dustpan, and hand brush.
While the Cove’s shelter aka the 8” wall is optional, it is standard on the Cubby. The wall provides containment for the mess while keeping the litter box top open. The open-top design, together with the semi-transparent wall, allows the cats to be more at ease with clear sight lines.
The basin itself is sturdy and anti-stick, and the plastic used is durable and odor-resistant. There is nothing fancy or high-tech with this little box but the modern and minimal design commands attention.
