Well, it’s about time. The TurtleBeach VelocityOne Flight simulation control system introduced last year is now joined by the VelocityOne Rudder Pedals and VelocityOne Stand. It took Turtle Beach long enough but at the least, the setup is complete now. Well, that’s if users of VelocityOne Flight haven’t already settled for other options.
The VelocityOne Flight and the new VelocityOne Rudder will mount perfectly to the VelocityOne Stand to create the ultimate in-flight experience… almost because there is no seat. The stand can also accommodate other brands’ yokes as well as racing wheel and pedal setups too.
A little more on the rudder… it features dual pedal configurations for light aircraft and heavy airline set up, with a smooth rudder axis and non-contact hall-effect sensors on all axes for fluid movements and longer product life with zero maintenance.
Moreover, differentiated brakes allow for tight turns and precise runway braking control while swappable springs and adjustable pedal width and shape further boost the realism of flight whether you are behind the yoke of a light aircraft, heavy airliner, or fighter jet.
Meanwhile, the stand features a quick-release latch for adjusting the height, angle, and length to adapt to the user’s height. Moreover, the upper mounting platform tilts for proper yoke or wheel placement, and the lower platform can also be adjusted for a comfortable rudder or racing pedal placement.
Other highlights include a reversible design that allows it to be used facing either direction, solid steel mounting platforms predrilled for VelocityOne Flight and VelocityOne Rudder, adjustable anti-wobble feet, and a fold-flat design that allows for stowing away.
The new Turtle Beach VelocityOne Rudder Pedals and VelocityOne Stand are available for pre-order for US$299.99 and US$199.99, respectively. The rudder pedals is expected to be available starting on October 31 and the stand, on December 14, 2022.
