Type 964 Porsche 911-inspired Origami Wallet

Can you imagine a wallet in the shape of a Porsche 911? It could be a possibility, but it will be likely a made-for-kids wallet. Not the Type 964 Porsche 911-inspired Origami Wallet, though. Its association with the legendary sports car may not be immediately obvious. It does, however, inherits the lines and details of the 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 4, including a lone hardware made of duralumin in the form of the legendary Fuchs wheel “five-leaf” in 1:280 scale.

Conceived by the family custom design studio in Kiev, Ukraine, Maneki Works, the Type 964 Porsche 911-inspired Origami Wallet is crafted from a single piece of natural Italian vegetable-dyed leather and features two main compartments. The main compartment is design to fit bills of size up to 500 euro denomination with the aim of keeping the notes in pristine, straight condition. The second compartment, on the other hand, is for your plastics. It can store up to 10 cards.

Finally, a single elastic band allows for simple opening and keeping the wallet close. By going with an elastic band, it provides room for expansion when required. As you can see, the Type 964 Porsche 911-inspired Origami Wallet is not your run-of-the-mill wallet. Not only it is longish, it has a unique layout and opening/closing. I don’t know why, but this wallet sure scream style very loudly. It is minimal and classy, befitting the icon it drew its inspiration from.
