Tsuburaya Productions created a series of busts based on the popular Ultraman series for Tsuburaya Convention held in December 2019. Fast forward a few months later, fans of Ultraman has the opportunity to bring home the said busts, officially called Ultraman Archives Classic Arts Suit Size Bust.
Ultraman Archives Classic Arts Suit Size Bust includes Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Belial (evil Ultraman) and the infamous and super persistence arch nemesis of the giant rubber-suited superhero, Alien Baltan.
The busts were produced by CoolProps under the supervision of Tsuburaya Productions’ sculpturing department “LSS”. The busts were replica of the actual props used for filming and as such, they are series accurate.
Each bust features light up eyes and in the case of Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Belial, light up color timer too. Plus, each bust is individually numbered and comes with an original plaque along with certificate of authenticity.
These are very limited edition collectibles with only 78 units made. As expected, they don’t come cheap. Alien Baltan costs 250,000 Yen (roughly US$2,290), while Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Belial each sells for 225,800 Yen (about US$2,070).
