Christian Dior (or more popularly known as Dior now) is a luxury label. Vespa, however, is not quite. But that does not stop the two brands from coming together to produce this: Vespa 946 Christian Dior Scooter.
The Vespa 946 was chosen as a homage to the year (1946) which both companies were founded, and a mark of the sunny disposition and art of living shared by both brands.

This unique collaboration saw the two brands created an exclusive scooter with, you guessed it, a range of matching accessories. So, yeah, scooter – specifically, Vespa – can actually get luxurious.
This contemporary version of the iconic Vespa 946, which was first introduced in 2012 in Milan, features a saddle and a top case patterned with the Dior Oblique motif designed by Marc Bohan in 1967. The latter is designed to be mounted on the luggage rack, adding a distinctive look to monohull architecture of the scooter.

Rounding up the look is a helmet adorned with the same iconic motif and subtle graphic lines, along with Christian Dior’s branding, decorating the scooter.
Vespa said that “these limited-edition creations will launch in spring 2021” and they will be available at Dior boutiques across the globe, followed by at select Piaggio Group’s Motoplex stores. Having said that, I pretty sure we are talking about the helmet, add-on graphics and the luggage, and not the entire scooter.
