Never mind that Xiaomi Buds 4 is already selling in China because, outside of China, we have the Xiaomi Buds 3 Star Wars Edition. The Xiaomi Buds 3 Star Wars Edition is essentially the white model of the Buds 3 with some interesting Star Wars cosmetic touches.
On the charging case, you have the Star Wars logo and an image of the Stormtrooper helmet. On the earbud, it now rocks a black accent, a black silicone earbud, before rounding up with an Imperial logo blended with the external microphone. If I can be honest, the latter is not the prettiest. It looks like a smudged Imperial insignia to me. Just saying…
The cosmetic does not end there. Both the earbuds and the charging case are made with a variety of special techniques that improve the feel and also added an extra layer of protection against scratches.
And what’s a pair of Star Wars-themed earbuds without some cool sound effects? That said, the Xiaomi Buds 3 Star Wars Edition boasts original custom voice prompts for successful Bluetooth connection, in-ear reminders, connection interruption, and low battery reminders, with a unique sound to further immerse you in the galaxy far, far away.
Finally, the pop-up on the phone when you flip open the charging case cover will recognize that it is pairing up with the Xiaomi Buds 3 Star Wars Edition. Unfortunately, it does not have a custom graphic (on the pop-up) like the Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter Edition has.
Wrapping up the Star Wars/Stormtrooper theme is a very collectible Star Wars/Stormtrooper packaging, Stormtrooper-theme documentation, and charging cable.
