Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in Gran Turismo 7 Video Game

Xiaomi is no longer content with making phones, vacuums, wearables, and cars in real life. It now wants to embarrass supercars in the virtual world, too. On June 7, 2025, Polyphony Digital confirmed a collaboration with Xiaomi, bringing the SU7 Ultra into the Gran Turismo universe. This is the same four-door EV that claims output equivalent to 1,500 horsepower and set a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time of 6:46.874, which is faster than many cars that loudly insist they are “track-focused.”

The partnership covers two fronts. The SU7 Ultra and a Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo concept car are now in development. Xiaomi’s move from smartphones to setting lap records continues to escalate in unexpected ways. But here’s the thing: It has been 6 months since the announcement of the collaborations, but the promised car has not yet appeared in any of the updates following that. Not sure what gives.
