Attention fans of G1 Transformers. Yolopark, the toy maker behind the jaw-dropping IIES 24” Optimus Prime figure and various Transformers PLAMO kits will be launching a G1 Megatron kit. The Yolopark AMK Pro Series G1 Megatron, as it is called, is the first of a brand-new line known as the AMK Pro series and it will be launched through a Kickstarter campaign.
Much like the PLAMO Optimus Prime, the Yolopark AMK Pro Series G1 Megatron does contain diecast parts. Much like collectible figures, it boasts a modular assembly design that lets you customize Megatron with different weapons, faceplates, and accessories.
Speaking of which, in addition to the rail cannon, the Yolopark AMK Pro Series G1 Megatron is supplied with an Energon sword, an Energon mace, and a blaster, and it comes with three interchangeable faces as well as two chest plates (a battle damaged and a nonbattle damaged item).
When assembled, the model kit stands 20 cm (7.9 inches) tall and offers quite a number of articulations, including a flexible head rotation, waist swivel, arm swivel, ankle tilt, 90-degree knee bend, 90-degree front kick, and flexible articulated hand. It also boasts a “simulated finger design” that allows for free finger movement to achieve various poses.
The Yolopark AMK Pro Series G1 Megatron is set to be crowdfunded on Kickstarter on May 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM, EST, with a Super Early Bird price of US$50.
