There are many supercars out there, but some are just good for the one-time you hit up the black tie event and make the valet giggle with excitement. Not practical for everyday commute and underground parking garage. The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Stealth Edition, however, is good for the many high society charity galas you will be attending and also for your boring daily commute to work.
Armed with a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo motor massaged to produced a healthy 523 HP and 494 lb-ft (670 Nm) of torque and mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, this upgraded GT will happily wipe 0-60 (0-97 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds and sending it on its way to a top speed of 194 mph (312 kmh), or 193 mph (310 kmh) on the roadster model. And yes, there is a roadster variant too.
Along with more horses and torque comes more standard equipment which includes AMG Ride Control with dynamic dampers, electronically-controlled limited slip differential (LSD), composite brakes paired to striking red AMG calipers that peeks out from its 19- and 20-inch wheels, an all-black interior featuring AMG sport seats, AMG Interior Night Package, black piano lacquer trim, and finally, a super stealthy matte exterior that befits its namesake.
No words on the pricing yet. However, we heard the car will be on sale in “early 2021” in stateside and by then, pricing should be made available.
