However, there’s one thing the industry haven’t had you covered and that’s portability. Specifically, where do you put the charging case when you are and about, and without bag or pockets? Stump? Well, this is where Aipower Wearbuds comes in. It is the world’s first true wireless earbuds that is housed in a fitness band.

Save for the design which did not quite pleases my eyes, I think Wearbuds is a genius invention. This kind of ingenuity is what we expect from companies like Apple, but alas, post Jobs era isn’t quite the same.

Here’s a list of its key features and specs:

As a fitness band (or if you prefer, fitness tracker), it automatically keeps track of steps, calories burned, monitor heart rate and sleep pattern, and instant access to fitness data and notifications straight from the touchscreen display. You know, the usual stuff that fitness band does. Considering this is a Kickstarter campaign, you’d be forgive for being a little cautious.

But here’s the thing. Aipower actually have made some working prototypes and had them sent out to tech reviewers for testing. With Aipower Wearbuds functionality established and more importantly, the existence of real product is confirmed, all there’s left to do is for Aipower to keep up with the October 2019 delivery date. However, if the history crowdfunding has taught us anything, things could still go wrong. Lets just hope that it does not go that way.

If you are already sold, then you may want to considering joining the 2,800+ backers who have contributed over $270,000 in pre-ordering a unit by backing the campaign. The super early bird perk is gone now, but you can still get it at a significant discount at $99-149.
