MSI is not alone in supplying Evangelion-themed gaming hardware. Last month, ASUS also revealed that its ROG line is collaborating with Studio Khara for a collection of Evangelion-themed gaming hardware.
All told there are 16 products in the ROG x Evangelion collaboration and it includes motherboards, graphics cards, gaming cases, all-in-one coolers, gaming monitors, peripherals, routers, and non-gaming merchandise like apparel.
Like MSI’s collab, expect to find many EVA-01-inspired colors, and both EVA-01 and NERV motifs. Keep going for brief details of the products:
ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO EVA Edition Motherboard
ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO EVA Edition features the icon purple and green colors of EVA-01. It further boasts an A.T. Field design around the CPU socket and polymo-lighting on the I/O cover that switches between EVA-01 normal and berserk modes. Beyond the colors and EVA-01 motifs, the motherboard features robust cooling and power supply that are 12th-gen Intel Core processors-ready.
ROG STRIX GeForce 3080 EVA Edition Graphics Card
The ROG STRIX GeForce 3080 12GB has been given a myriad of performance-enhancing features, along with aesthetic cues inspired by EVA-01 on the shroud and backplate, as well as the iconic synchronization effect on the front ARGB panel. On the center hub of each fan is the logo of NERV, EVA-01, and ROG.
ROG STRIX GeForce 3090 EVA Edition Graphics Card
The ROG STRIX GeForce 3090 24GB, like the 3080, has been blessed with a myriad of performance-enhancing features. Beyond the 3090-specific features and specs, aesthetically, it is pretty much the same as the ROG STRIX GeForce 3080 12GB.
ROG RYUJIN II 360 ARGB EVA Edition All-In-Cooler
“From end to end, the ROG Ryujin II 360 EVA Edition embodies EVANGELION spirit. A gunmetal pump cover surrounds a 3.5” screen that displays vital stats and customizable GIFs. And reinforced tubing pipes coolant into a radiator loaded with three NERV-styled ARGB fans to ensure exemplary stability during the heat of battle.”
ROG THOR 1000W Platinum II EVA Edition Power Supply

In addition to the EVA branding, the unit also features the NERV logo and the familiar NERV hexagon motif.
ROG STRIX Helios EVA Edition Case
ROG STRIX Helios EVA Edition Case is a premium mid-tower gaming case featuring 3 tempered glass panels, a sleek aluminum frame, and RGB lighting integrated into the front panel. The EVA theme extends to the interior with EVA-01 brandings, as well as the A.T. Field motif.
The case further touts a multifunction cover with GPU braces, PSU shroud, and translucent rear cover for a tidy build. Completing the packaging is an ergonomic and stylish fabric handles – EVA-branded, of course – for carrying the rig to LAN parties.
ROG STRIX XG27AQM EVA Edition Monitor
ROG STRIX XG27AQM EVA Edition Monitor has been given an EVA makeover of purple and green, along with the shoulder emblem. Save for the colors that extend down to the stand, this is the less obvious EVA gear. As for the hardware, expect features like a 27-inch display with an overclocked refresh rate of 270 Hz and 0.5 ms (GTG) response time. The display also covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space, offering a full representation of wide-gamut media.
ROG DELTA S EVA Edition Gaming Headset
ROG DELTA S EVA Edition Gaming Headset is a pair of headphones that scream “EVA!”. On the earcups are EVA-inspired purple-and-green colorway and customizable RGB lighting against a background featuring the line art of the EVA-01.
As for the hardware, it “encapsulates a hi-fi-grade ESS 9281 QUAD DAC™ and ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Microphone” inside a lightweight package that weighs no more than 300g (10.6 oz).

Among all the EVA-themed hardware from ROG, the ROG STRIX ARION EVA Edition SSD Enclosure has to be the most fitting. I mean the ROG STRIX ARION itself looks like it has jumped straight out from Evangelion. Just throw in a few EVA motifs and voila! a portable storage that I could see the NERV team using.
Beyond the aesthetics, this futuristic SSD enclosure features an aluminum-alloy case that includes internal thermal pads for effective heat dissipation, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×1 connectivity for blazingly fast file transfers at up to 10 Gbps, and a screw-free design.
ROG RAPTURE GT-AX6000 Eva Edition Wireless Router

ROG x Evangelion T-shirts and Sweatshirts
ROG T-shirt EVA Edition and ROG Sweater EVA Edition are made from cotton that has a natural softness to it and features reinforce anti-wrinkle neckline for durability. Each model features EVA-inspired screen-printed design, making the t-shirt more breathable. The t-shirt is available in a choice of black or white while the sweater is available in black.
Available and pricing are not available. However, we heard that the collection will be available in July in Japan.
