Where other movies have action figures, the upcoming Barbie The Movie has dolls. That’s like a no-brainer for Mattel. And if you are a big fan of Barbie, then you owe it to yourself to check out the new Barbie The Movie collectibles.
Mattel’s Barbie The Movie line of collectibles includes a bunch of Barbie and Ken dolls, a toy car (a Corvette convertible as seen in the film), a fashion pack, and a super cool MEGA Barbie The Movie Replica DreamHouse Building kit.
That’s right. A brick-built Barbie home. Like, how cool is that? I think it is super cool. Sadly though, the set ain’t Barbie doll-scale but it does come with four buildable micro-dolls.
The brick-built DreamHouse is a massive set packing 1,795 pieces and when completed, it is a fully kitted-out house measuring 37 inches (94 cm) long when opened up.
Unfortunately, a few items have already sold out, including the said Corvette toy car but the remote control version from Hot Wheels, the Hot Wheels RC Barbie The Movie Barbie Corvette is still available.
In addition to toys, the collection also includes a ton of apparel, which include tees, hats, visors, a denim jacket, pullovers, hoodies, and there’s a mug too.
Prices range from US$25 to US$150.
