Bose Sport Open Earbuds

Hear everything around you as you enjoy your favorite tunes while running with the the new Bose Sport Open Earbuds. The Bose Sport Open Earbuds looks like regular TWS earbuds, but if you take a closer look, they are actually not plugged inside the sound holes. They are really more like miniature speakers placed very closed to the ears.

Bose described Bose Sport Open Earbuds as “a truly different kind of sport headphone” because, “they’re the first of their kind that don’t go into your ears.” Well then, they can’t be called “earbuds”, can they?

This concept is not new, though. More recent example would be the Run Up Audio Headband while LG had experimented this concept way back in 2017 with LG Tone Studio, albeit it was designed to worn around the neck.
