the product name, BRIC+ Productivity Case for iPhone 5 and 5s, doesn’t tell you a lot, but it is actually a 3-in-1 iPhone accessories. if you are all in for iPhonegraphy, you will be delighted to know that the BRIC+ case for iPhone 5 and 5s offers a magnetically attached 3.5x optical zoom lens for some serious boost in the imaging department, while the case and its built-in 2,450 mAh lithium-ion provides an all-round protection for your handset and offers up to 2.5x more usage time, so you can go on shooting and using the phone without having to frequent the wall outlet or whipping out your other portable battery. honestly, by the virtue of each individual function, this product is hardly new, but it is among the rare cases that actually combines three things in one accessory.
actually, that’s not true. the BRIC+ has more to offer than the said features; with it on, it also offers a more powerful external LED flash and this flash is designed to work in sync with the iPhone’s camera shutter control. additionally, it case also has an integrated 1/4-20″ universal tripod mount, thus allowing the iPhone with the BRIC+ case to be use with tripods. all the features and functionalities are packed into an aesthetically pleasing build that consists of thermoplastic composite and a choice of aluminum alloy or titanium alloy frame. though the latter is only available as an option on Kickstarter and in limited quantity. other details include, as always, a battery level gauge, access to all ports and buttons and the inclusion of “twin-lid” for keeping dust and fingerprints out from the lens attachment when not in use.
