Burger King Molded Burger Campaign

Any burger joint or restaurant would naturally want to let people know how fresh their products are, but not Burger King. Not this time. The America burger chain’s latest campaign stars, ermm, a moldy burger?

Thankfully, Burger King isn’t selling us some exotic fungus burger. To promote the fast food chain’s resolution to make its signature Whopper free of artificial preservatives, it has created a campaign to show how a Whopper without artificial preservatives will turn moldy quickly (and all out molded by the 34th day).

The campaign goes by the tagline “the beauty of real food is that it gets ugly” and if I can be honest, it only makes me realized that I have been chucking down artificial preservatives the whole time. Ugh.

Anywho, Burger King promised to roll out artificial preservatives-free Whopper to all restaurants in the U.S. by the end of 2020. As of now, 400+ restaurants in the U.S. are already serving this ‘new’ Whopper. Seriously, I am traumatized now. Go ahead and have a look at the “beauty” turns into a “beast”.
