Question: Can a scooter looks cool and stylish, and at the same, fast? I don’t know, but if you leave it to the hands of Polish motorcycle customizer Unikat Motorworks, it certainly can – as proven by its latest custom scooter, the Yamaha TMAXX Scooter – a former Yamaha TMAX XP500 scooter.
When motorcycle-turn-scooter rider, Polish Maciej Bielawski, can’t bear to part with his 2009 Yamaha TMAX XP500, he look to Grzegorz ‘Greg’ Korczak, a cinematographer and Oscar-nominated special effects director who also happens to be running a custom motorcycle shop in Poland, Unikat Motorworks.
Anywho, long story short, Greg did the job and the result is TMAXX. The new scooter with a hint cafe racer silhouette looks absolutely amazing. If there’s one reason to starting riding a scooter, TMAXX would be it.
Highlights include a free-flowing Malossi air filter and exhaust system, a shorter modified aluminum frame, see-through mesh panels, custom leather seat and handles, modified BMW C400 fairing with metal ‘wings’ on either side, Highsider headlight and discreet LED strips, Motogadget Motoscope Mini speedometer and Motogadget m.lock remote ignition system – just to name a few.
