The first time I started to take notice of Dr. Martens was in 1986 when I saw British pop group Bros (pronounced as “Bross”) wearing the customized versions of Doc Marts with a wristwatch on it. I thought it was super cool. Dr. Martens 1460 Embellished with Swarovski Crystals is not related to Bros, but it does remind me that how Doc Mart used to be known as the customizable boots.
The Dr. Martens 1460 Embellished with Swarovski Crystals needs no pop stars nor an oddly placed wristwatch to turn heads. Crystals on the feet themselves are begging for attention and if I can be honest, looks awfully cool.
Unfortunately, the 1450 Embellished with Crystals From Swarovski are for ladies and it is pretty dear too, commanding £279 (or about US$375). There is a matching 7” Satchel Embellished with Crystals from Swarovski too, but the 169 quid (US$227) bag is sold out.
