We all been there: we head out in the warm of the day in just berms, t-shirt and a bag, but when the sun sets and the cold takes over, you’d wish you had brought along a jacket. Then again, your bag wouldn’t fit anyways and having to hold on a jacket when you don’t need it is rather inconvenient and makes you look silly. While it looks like we have put up with this modern day inconvenience, the brilliant minds behind the pop-a-point pencil-style tool pen came up with an ultimate solution: DUOKET. So what the heck is DUOKET anyway? It is a jacket and it is also a bag. It is either when you need, well, either. In other words, it is a transforming apparel/bag.
When you don’t need the warm of a jacket, DUOKET can be transformed into a bag for your everyday carry and when the cold sets in, you can unpack it into a jacket and doing so without the need to remove the contents. Whatever you placed inside the bag remains in the same pockets which are also easily accessible when in its jacket form. Now, tell me that does not make a ton of sense. I am sure Hikaru didn’t have to get out of his VF-1D Valkyrie transforming aerospace fighter mecha, mid-air or mid-space, when he wants it to transform into Battroid mode and so, the same goes for a bag which I am 101 percent sure you don’t wish to empty the bag just to turn it into a jacket. And that, folks, is where the ingenuity of DUOKET stands out.
Impressed? And seriously, why wouldn’t anyone be? Anywho, if you are (impressed) and want one, you can pre-order it on Kickstarter in the next 50 days or so, for $119. The campaign, btw, has already met its set funding goal and so, your pledge is indeed a pre-order which should arrive sometime in June 2017. Product intro video after the break.
