The Evangelion franchise may have concluded with the final installment of the tetralogy, Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time but its presence will continue to be felt for a very long time.
Just in recent months, we have heard about a series of new Evangelion news and products – both official and nonofficial, including the new statue based on the last movie, Eva-inspired keycap sets, Evangelion Esports gaming chair, and even an Eva-themed iron kettle.
And now, we heard Japanese sporting goods maker Mizuno is partnering with Evangelion for a collection that includes t-shirts, hats, jackets, face towels, and face masks.
In support of the collaboration, Mizuno Japan will be offering an original face mask carrier for storing your face mask free with purchases of 5,500 yen or more. The face mask case is not available for sale and available while stocks last within the promotion period (March 30-April 12).
In addition, an Evangelion Unit-01 statue (which appears to be based on the Evangelion 3.0+1.0) will be making its appearance at select Mizuno stores in Japan. Advanced reservation (aka pre-order) for the Evangelion x Mizuno Collection is happening now and will continue through to April 12.
Delivery for the Evangelion x Mizuno collection will begin progressively sometime in mid-August. Prices start at 1,540 yen (about US$12.60) for the face mask and run up to 10,980 yen (around US$90) for the super cool Mizuno Evangelion BERGTECH Aqua block Rain Jacket.
