The Huawei Sound X introduced late last year now has a little brother called Huawei Sound. Sound, like its bigger brother, is co-engineered with French audio technology company Devialet.
Aesthetically, the two look identical, except that Sound is slightly smaller at 186.7 mm (7.35 inches) tall and 147 mm (5.79 inches) in diameter.
Sound features Devialet 4-speaker acoustic design which includes 3 full-range drivers, a woofer, and 2 passive units that worked together to deliver room-filling, 360-degree surround sound. Out-of-the-box, Huawei Sound is outfitted with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB ROM.
Other features include 55 Hz – 40 kHz frequency response, on-device controls, built-in lights for connection guide, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band wireless 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, 3.5 mm AUX-input, support UPnP, Huawei Share, support for Hi-Res Audio, and four sound effects: Hi-Fi, Vocal, Devialet SPACE Soundstage and bass.
Huawei x Devialet Sound Smart Speaker will retail for €199 (roughly US$236) when it goes on sale in Europe markets.
