can’t get enough of quirky accessories for your iPhone? how about a KATANA hilt to hold your iPhone up? our opinion on this? super weird, but fun. little is known about this cool product, but based on our relentless search, it appears to be a concept design conceived by a Tokyo-based design studio known by the name of GOES inc. and apparently, the Art Director Kengo Maeda was the creative mind behind this concept product. the little information (if you can even call that ‘information’) available on Behance and Tumblr where it was posted was translated by a translator (probably Google Translate) which does not make a lot of sense (what’s new?).
however, the description loosely means that in this modern world, you can experience the spirit of samurai with this KATANA iPhone cover, instead of a blade (you know, befitting today’s urban jungle warrior) and the hilt also conceals a battery that charges your iPhone while it rest idly on the hilt. this is one of those stuff that tickles our fancy and reminds us the wonder of the creativity when you add a dash of quirkiness to it. the KATANA iPhone Cover also refreshed our memories of the Old Spice Broadsword iPhone case we saw a couple of years ago.
