Kotobukiya BISHOUJO Optimus Prime and Megatron Statues

You may want to skip this if you hate sexualizing any characters because toy maker Kotobukiya has just “sexualized” yet another two iconic cartoon characters and you won’t believe who they are.

They are, believe it or not, Autobots’ leader Optimus Prime and Decepticons’ leader Megatron from the popular Transformers cartoon series. Yes. Sexualization of Optimus Prime and Megatron.

I know it is hard to believe but they are not the first. However, they are the first officially licensed examples. Part of Kotobukiya’s original statue series, BISHOUJO, the benevolent Autobots’ leader and Decepticons’ dictator have been reimagined by illustrator Shunya Yamashita as, well, girls in a rather revealing getup.

Optimus Prime’s BISHOUJO features a lady in a red jacket with Autobot’s symbol on the sleeves (which is a nod to the insignia as they were on Prime), wearing eyewear that resembles Optimus Prime’s eyes and forehead, a Matrix necklace, boots with a pair of wheels, and carrying a briefcase that resembles Prime’s trailer – complete with wheels.

Meanwhile, Megatron’s BISHOUJO character is a lady dressed in a sexy version of a military ceremonious uniform (read: impossibly figure-hugging), complete with a tie with Decepticon’s emblem (similarly, as a nod to the emblem seen on Megatron, on his chest), and carrying Megatron’s iconic gun/gun scope.
