Sometimes I think LEGO can’t decide what to do with the Fast & Furious franchise. It’s a bit of a mixed bag: from brick-built sets for kids (76917 and 77241) to Technic sets like 42111 and 42204 for older children and teens. And now, it has one squarely aimed at adult fans of LEGO and car culture. Folks, meet the LEGO Technic 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) Car (42210).

It’s not a massive set—it uses 1,410 Technic elements to recreate Brian O’Connor’s iconic ride from 2 Fast 2 Furious. This is LEGO’s second Skyline GT-R, but the first one rendered in Technic. If you ask me, I’d say it looks pretty solid given the scale.
Highlights include functional steering, front and rear suspension, opening doors that reveal a detailed interior complete with three NOS bottles, an opening hood with a detailed 6-cylinder engine and moving pistons (RB26DETT for the win!), plus an adjustable rear spoiler.
Oh, and did we mention it drifts? Well, sorta. It’s not an RC car, but it does feature LEGO Technic’s first-ever “drift function,” which raises the chassis to let you recreate those chaotic race maneuvers from the movie. So yes, it’s the closest you’ll get to wrecking a LEGO car without actually stepping on it.
When assembled, it measures over 5 in. (12 cm) high, 16 in. (41 cm) long, and 7 in. (18 cm) wide—which means you’ll need to make some shelf space. LEGO doesn’t officially call it a scale model, but if you must know, we worked it out: it’s about 1:11 scale, which is pretty strange. Most Technic models go 1:10 or 1:8. But hey, it is what it is. Had they gone with 1:8, it’d probably look even slicker.
Anyway, if you’re feeling the need for brick-speed, the LEGO Technic 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) Car (42210) drops June 1, 2025, for US$139.99. Pre-orders are now live at LEGO.com. Check out more images below.
