Fans of McLaren, especially the 720S, you will want to check out this LEGO Technic MOC 1:8 McLaren 720S. Why? Because, LEGO did not give you one and also, this one is probably better than what LEGO would have designed it anyways. Plus, there is a chance that you may get to build one yourself too.

What you see here is a creation by LEGO enthusiast who goes by the name Charbel Imad, AKA Charbel’s LEGO TECHNIC Creations, using a period of 2 years.

It features manually operated butterfly doors, a rear-mounted replica V8 unit, an active rear spoiler, opening hood with space for a custom LEGO suitcase, steerable front wheels, full independent suspension, full modular chassis and body, working 8-speed sequential gearbox and a folding “instrument panel”.

Beyond that, we know nothing of this awesome creation. No words on the number of pieces, the size and all. However, from the video, you get a sense of its sheer size. Well, it should be. After all, it is a 1/8th scale model.

The video was posted by Charbel his (or was it ‘she’?) YouTube channel on July 31st and in the video, Charbel promised to share the build instructions in a month or two.

So, if you want to build one yourself, do get yourself signed up to his channel so you can be in the know when that happens. Keep going to have a look at the video yourself.
