As much as we love the life-size replica of the Mad Titan’s prized space glove, AKA Infinity Gauntlet, I know very well I will not get it because of several reasons. Firstly, I do not live a mansion with extra rooms to display all these drool worthy collectibles. Secondly, blogger-level of income does not allow me to do that. Trust me. It is worst than minimum wage. Thirdly, I am not satisfied to be just ogling at it everyday; I want to wear it and pretend I could destroy half of the universe if I so choose to. But lucky for those who want a realistic looking Infinity Gauntlet (namely, yours truly here), there is the Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Infinity Gauntlet Articulated Electronic Fist.
It cost way less than the replica and it is totally wearable if you feel like unleashing the power of these space stones combined. And when you do, you can be sure you fingers will maintain some form of articulation as it should, plus the stones have glow effects and it has movie-inspired sound effects to boot. Hasbro claims that Marvel Legends Series Infinity Gauntlet has “collector-inspired attention to detail” and if the product images are to believe, it may very be the alternative to the collector-priced Hot Toys example. It can let you do things the actual collectible can’t with the boon of a fist-lock display mode, so it could be displayed like the very expensive example.
But you have understand that, like the Hot Toys life-size replica, this will not let you take control of the galaxy. You can, however, save yourself the hassle of building the gauntlet from the ground up if you are cosplaying as Thanos. If you ask me, that is a win in my book. Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Infinity Gauntlet Articulated Electronic Fist has a retail list price of $99.99 and it can be found at major retailers including Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Entertainment Earth and Amazon – that’s if it is even in stock. We heard it has been running out of stock since it came out.
