Rejoice, fans of Sony and Santa Monica Studios’ God Of War: Ragnarök because someone is recreating Thor’s hammer from the game that is not just a replica but “a gateway to an extraordinary experience.” Mind you. This ain’t no toy. This is a collectible worthy of fans of God Of War: Ragnarök.

Mjölnir God of Thunder Forged Hammer by Ancient Smithy

Ancient Smithy aka Mykhailo aka Mike (I assure you that’s not me!) aka Mick, an axesmith is bringing to you a replica of the Norse God’s forged hammer as seen in the video game.

The Mjölnir God of Thunder Forged Hammer by Ancient Smithy will be a full-scale replica of the mythical hammer crafted entirely from metal. It will feature an intricate motif on the hammer’s head as well as on the handle. The latter is further wrapped in gentle leather.

Like in the game, the motif on the hammer does glow in the dark – thanks to the luminescent treatment. The replica forged hammer promised to carry the weight and balance that offers a “true authentic feel”. Though I guess the “weight and feel” are just how we imagine them to be because I am pretty sure nobody has handled Thor’s legendary hammer except for Kratos.

Anyhoo, not a lot is known about this upcoming product from Ancient Smithy which will be on Kickstarter. However, we do know that the handle measures 11.8 inches (300 mm), and the hammer is 2.6 inches (65 mm) deep, 5.1 inches (130 mm) tall, and 9.8 inches (250 mm) wide.

If you are down be sure to get yourself signed up to be notified of the launch on Kickstarter. I believe the Mjölnir God of Thunder Forged Hammer will not be alone as a reward in the campaign. Think the Leviathan Axe will be available too. I could be wrong. Anyhoo, if you are a fan or collector be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
