We all know Monster High, Mattel’s goth-glam juggernaut—a fashion doll franchise that fused horror tropes with high school drama, is heavy on, well, goth and horror. This makes it the perfect canvas for creepy characters like M3GAN and the Young-Hee Doll. But let me tell you this: the latest Monster High role is on another level now. Like acidic, melt-through-your-deck-plates kind of next level. Folks, meet the Monster High Skullector Alien Doll.
That’s right, my friends, the Xenomorph has taken on human—or at least Monster High—form… while keeping her signature elongated skull (with Monster High’s eyes peeking out ever so faintly). The Monster High Skullector Alien Doll is as glam-nightmarish as the predatory creature itself. She’s dressed in a sheer black and iridescent foil-print top and skirt, plus a pleather bodysuit. That’s the glam part.
The rest would be Ripley’s worst nightmare: an eerie ribcage, dorsal tubes jutting out of back armor pieces, a segmented tail, and feet in wraparound heels that channel the chilling look of a Facehugger. Yup. Facehugger-turned-foothugger. “Where’s the orifice I’m supposed to inject my egg into?” is basically what these foothuggers are asking at this point.
And the details don’t stop there. This teen horror goth thing has digits that look like she’s perpetually doing the Vulcan salute… with both hands, but in the most Xenomorph way possible (read: witch fingers). Alright, enough of the gruesome bits—let’s talk doll specs. She stands 11 inches (~28 cm) tall, with 11 points of articulation plus a bendable tail. But despite all that, the doll cannot stand on her own. I guess that’s the price of vanity. A doll stand is included to help in this aspect.
Rounding out the package is premium collectible packaging that puts you right aboard the Nostromo. Nice. Oh, and of course, there’s a Certificate of Authenticity—just in case any imitations are floating around. The Monster High Skullector Alien Doll drops on October 16, 2025, at 9 PM PT for 85 US dollars. One catch: you’ll need to be a member to secure one. But I think you already knew that, don’t you?
