Numskull has revealed a couple of new products that will get Transformers fans super excited. The first product is an officially licensed statue of Autobot leader, Optimus Prime, and the second product is an official Transformers Nintendo Switch Case.
The Optimus Prime statue is what really tickles my fancy and I am sure it will for many G1 devotees because it’s a G1 Optimus Prime and it is huge, towering at 10.8 inches (27.5 cm), and also, it is cel-shaded. The combination of the three elements makes this a must-have for any true fans of G1 Transformers.
The cel-shaded paintwork, along with the strong black lines and highlights, and the life-like, or should I say, cartoon-like, running pose really makes it look like Optimus Prime has jumped out of the cartoon.
The statue is presented on a unique logo display stand that further boosts the aesthetic of the statue but also helps enhance its stability. Makes sense. After all, Prime only has one foot planted on the ground and so…
If anyone’s interested, the Official Transformers Optimus Prime Statue by Numskull is available for pre-order from Big Bad Toy Store for US$174.99, with delivery set to happen in November 2023.
While you are at it, you may also want to check out the Official Transformers Nintendo Switch Case. The case, which is designed by Numskull, is presented in a red and blue color scheme and features a design inspired by the original Transformers cartoon series. Though, we noted that it isn’t quite G1 Transformers.
