Who’s going to cosplay as Autobot Mirage from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts? If you are, here’s something from Killerbody that could save you a bit of work making the costume: the KBGO x Killerbody Wearable Transformers Autobot Mirage Helmet.
Like the Collectible Scalpel figure in the previous post, this is also a collaboration with fellow Chinese toymaker KBGO (Chinese: 千世机甲). Similarly to the wearable Dark of the Moon Megatron Helmet, the KBGO x Killerbody Wearable Transformers Autobot Mirage Helmet has a built-in voice changer and the mouth movement is synchronized with the voice.
Also present is the requisite transformation sound effect, touch-activated LED light-up eyes, and hand-applied battle damage and weathering effects. The helmet is adjustable to fit a head circumference of 570-610 mm (22.44-24.0 inches). The helmet measures 290 by 320 by 300 mm (11.4 x 12.6 x 11.8 inches). It does come with a display stand but judging from the price, it is just a stand; not a speaker.
Speaking of price, the KBGO x Killerbody Wearable Transformers Autobot Mirage Helmet is announced for China market for now with an asking price of 1,680 yuan (works out to around US$232 based on the current going rate). It is expected to be released in Q4 2023.
In case you missed it, Killerbody has also launched a wearable Optimus Primal helmet based on the hero’s appearance in the latest live-action Transformers film. Key features include a built-in voice changer, a moving mouth when speaking, a magnetic interchangeable mask, touch-activated LED eyes, a transformation sound effect, and hand-applied battle damage and weathering effects that replicate the look in the live-action movie.
The Killerbody Transformers Optimus Primal Wearable Helmet with Voice Changer is available to order from the Killerbody website for US$321.22.
