Jaguar is not just selling modern, luxury and performance cars. The British automaker also sells nostalgia. Though not quite through its new automobiles but through Jaguar Classic.
Jaguar Classic not only connects classic Jaguar car lovers through restorations, experiences, parts and services, but it also sells brand new classics of iconic models such as the C-Type Continuation and rolling bespoke examples like the one-off 1965 Series 1 Jaguar E-type Roadster you see here.
The one-of-a-kind 1965 Series 1 Jaguar E-type Roadster, which debuted at the recent The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant, showcased its ability to comprehensively update the E-types.
This particular example is a special commission and it features unique paintwork inspired by the Union Jack, a 4.7L straight-six engine, a five-speed gearbox, uprated suspension and brakes, and a bespoke interior inspired by iconic British pillar boxes and completed in-house by Jaguar Classic trim shop.
This unique project involves tracking down an E-type built in the customer’s birth year and within two days of the customer’s birthday. Now, that is dedication for any custom workshop. You can learn more about Jaguar Classic HERE or hit up its Instagram for updates.
