This is the Opel Experimental Concept. It is a battery-electric crossover that offers a look into the future of the Opel brand. Some of the design elements and features may find their way to future Opel automobiles but for now, it is a concept that turns heads.
Opel Experimental is based on a state-of-the-art Stellantis BEV platform equipped with an electric all-wheel-drive system. Highlights include the cutting-edge aero-efficiency features, the spacious, illuminated interior with lightweight seats, and the next-level head-up display.
It further touts a new illuminated Opel Blitz, fully integrated 180-degree cameras on the C-pillars for side mirrors, 3-zone Ronal wheels with an active feature, tires made from recycled rubbers co-developed with Goodyear, fold-away steering wheel, steer-by-wired system, lightweight adaptive seats with lean but durable structure with 3D mesh-technology fabrics, and a front featuring the next generation 4D Opel Vizor that boasts advanced sight technologies, including sensors, the lidar, radar, and camera systems.
Oh. If don’t already know or notice. It is wearing the new logo. The Opel Experimental Concept made its world premiere at the IAA Mobility in Munich which ran from September 05-10, 2023. You may learn more about this futuristic Opel concept automobile HERE.
