Palette 2 Multi-material 3D Printing for 3D Printer

So, you don’t have money to upgrade your 3D printer to one that handles multi-material? Well, fret not my friends, because Mosaic Manufacturing is here to help. The company’s Palette 2 is a multi-material 3D printing ecosystem that includes the Canvas Software Platform and Canvas Hub. Palette 2 is a hardware designed to integrate with your 3D printer to enable multi-color and multi-material 3D printing, and in the simplest and most intuitive way possible.

It is powered by the Canvas, allowing you to work from any browser, whenever you desire. Canvas lets you create new content, prep it for printing, and share your creation – right from the browser of your choosing. Palette 2 itself is capable of taking up to four filaments. Whether you need soluble, flexible, or rigid materials, or a mix of materials for a single part, Palette 2 can and will do it all. Palette 2 also allows you to introduce multi-color to your project too.

Last but not the least, Palette 2 also touts run-out detection that, in the event one spool runs out of filament, it can automatically splice to another spool for an uninterrupted print. Two models are being offered: a standard Palette 2 and a Pro model. The latter includes Mosaic Manufacturing’s Splice Core Pro, machined out of aluminum for optimal cooling and bumping the splicing speeds by 20 percent. Pro also gets perks like extended warranty, along with extra replacement parts.

Seriously, though, what this 3D printing hardware accessory can do is beyond what words can say. Or perhaps I am just not apt with words and therefore, may I invite you to have a look at the product video available below to truly understand what it is capable of.
