Prime 1 Studio has never been shy about building big statues. This time, it has built an entire nightmare. Inspired by James Cameron’s Aliens, the latest Ultimate Diorama Masterline release recreates the Queen Alien’s hive beneath LV-426 in staggering detail.
Stretching an incredible 140 cm (55 inches) wide, this isn’t simply a statue of cinema’s most terrifying extraterrestrial monarch. It is the breeding ground Ripley fought her way through to rescue Newt, frozen in polystone. Basically, it is a scene she would rather not relive, designed, meticulously sculpted for your home.
Naturally, the Queen takes centre stage. Towering over the hive with an imposing yet strangely maternal presence, she is surrounded by towering ovomorph eggs, lurking Facehuggers, a freshly emerged Chestburster, and the grotesque translucent egg sac responsible for producing the next generation of nightmares. Prime 1 has even included alternate heads and multiple sets of forelimbs and mid-limbs, allowing collectors to change her posture and display.
The environment deserves just as much attention as its monstrous queen. Every corner of the sprawling base is packed with unsettling details, from organic hive walls to the countless eggs waiting patiently for their next unfortunate visitor. It captures the eerie silence that made the film’s hive sequence so unforgettable, right before everything inevitably went horribly wrong.
Collectors looking to expand the terror can also add the separately sold Warrior Xenomorph. Crouched low with its bladed tail coiled behind it, the extra piece slots naturally into the display, extending the hive while adding another layer of tension to the scene. It also stands perfectly well on its own for those who simply want another beautifully sculpted Xenomorph.
The Queen Alien measures approximately 75 cm (29.5 inches) tall, 140 cm (55 inches) wide, and weighs an astonishing 86.8 kg (191 pounds). Only 40 Bonus Version pieces will be produced worldwide. The Warrior Xenomorph measures 47 cm (18.5 inches) long.
The Ultimate Diorama Masterline Aliens Queen Alien Bonus Version carries a price tag of US$8,699, while the Warrior Xenomorph expansion is priced at US$499. Both are expected to ship between November 2027 and February 2028.
