If you are a fan of Apple’s smartphone, it is likely that you have come across (PRODUCT)RED (officially stylized as (PRODUCT)RED) Apple devices. If that’s the only thing you knew about this collaboration with the global charity organization co-founded by U2 frontman, Bono, well, then you may be in for surprise. Since its inception over a decade ago, (PRODUCT)RED portfolio has grew, like a lot. And we thought it will be a good idea to let you guys on this because, if you are going to buy something, you might as well buy something that goes toward helping a good cause and in this case, funding the fight HIV/AIDS in sub-Sahara Africa.
I mean, what’s there to lose right? After all, you are not paying premium or anything. Some of (PRODUCT)RED items maybe one-off, like The (RED) Diamond Ring and Jony Ive x Marc Newson Leica M Camera, but most of them are there for your acquisition and it ranges from gadgets to fashion to health and beauty products. You can find (PRODUCT)RED products like the smartphone (namely, the new Apple iPhone XR), smart speaker, Bluetooth speaker, headphones, fleece robes, Vespa helmet, t-shirts, bags, kitchen accessories, cordless vacuum, hair and skin essentials, and even condoms and condom holder. The latter two are perhaps the most fitting products in the entire PRODUCT(RED) line up. Oh, they even have a Vespa too. Yes, the actual motorcycle.
Though it is worthy to note that not every PRODUCT(RED) collab products are draped lustrous red like the (VIZIO)RED P-Series 55” Class 4K HDR Smart TV and Apple iPhone XR; some are more subtle, but that does not take away the fact that portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.
