We have featured LEGO enthusiast and LEGO Ideas member Jimmy Jakobsen aka Jimmy-DK a few times here. You may remember Jimmy for his incredible Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T. LEGO MOC. And here’s another of his pitch for LEGO: BAMBI.
BAMBI needs no introduction but Jimmy’s BAMBI LEGO MOC needs a special mention because it accurately captures the spirit of the white-tail deer from the Disney animated film of the same name.
This proposed 819-piece set is not merely a build of the lovable Virginia deer; it is a diorama set that features a gorgeous tree, low-lying greeneries, and even a mushroom, and Bambi’s friends, Thumper the rabbit, Flower the skunk, and Friend Owl.
The set is not just a build and display. OK. Maybe it partially is but Bambi here has moveable legs that allow for various poses. The set is complete with a pair of birds, and a couple of butterflies. You know, stuff you expect to find in the jungle of Disney animated films.
The proposed set measures 405 mm long, 184 mm wide, and 245 mm tall (15.94 x 7.24 x 9.65 inches).
