Razer has some gears for those looking to up their gaming experience on Playstation 4. The first is a pair of game controller called Razer Raiju Ultimate and Raiju Tournament Edition and the second product is a gaming headset called Razer Thresher headset. The controller is, not surprisingly, looking super sleek and features incredible level of customization.
Raiju has both wired and wireless connectivity, remappable multi-function buttons, and adjustable sensitivity clutch levels. If that’s not enough, more advanced customization can be made with a dedicated mobile app. You heard that right. Even game controller is app-enabled now. Additionally, Raiju gets a set of interchangeable thumbsticks and D-pad.
Other features include a 3.5 mm audio port, Razer Mecha-Tactile Action Buttons, Razer Chroma-enabled, secure button lock to prevent accident key presses, three connectivity modes (PS4, Bluetooth, USB and PC BT) switchable via a switch, a quick control panel for instant access to the various functions and on-the-fly mapping.
The Tournament edition, on the hand, is a stripped down version that has no fancy features. It is the Ultimate, but lacks of interchangeable thumbsticks and D-pad, and there is no Chroma lighting and no quick control panel.
Up next is the Razer Thresher Headset which can be use wirelessly via 2.4 GHz connection or wired via the 3.5 mm connection. It comes with a rechargeable battery that provides up to 16 hours of wireless use per charge and a wireless range of up to 40 feet (12 meters).
Other features include master and mic volume controls on the headset, retractable unidirectional boom microphone, microphone monitoring, large leatherette ear cushions packed with memory foam, indented eyewear channels, and 50 mm drivers.
Razer Raiju Ultimate and Raiju Tournament Edition costs $199.99 and $149.99, respectively, while the Thresher for PS4 is selling for $129.99. All three items are available in the U.S. since August 20 and they will be hitting other markets in Fall 2018.
