remember the one-off fan-made Ferrari-themed Suzuki Hayabusa trike? think we just found a matching helmet for it. well, it’s not red but close enough. strange as it is but Ferrari do have a helmet on their web store. despite not a being a full-face helmet is still looks pretty gorgeous. the Ferrari Style Helmet from NewMax pays homage to the historic Maranello tradition and Ferrari described it as “a keen aesthetic sensibility have yielded a model that is elegantly simple and finely made.” while i agree with the aesthetic and finely made part, i don’t really see it as ‘simple’.

there is certainly nothing ‘simple’ with satin-finish aluminum and ‘metallised’ thermoplastic details that adorn the edge of the padding that makes it more abrasion-resistant and easier to clean. wrapping more than half way round the helmet is a genuine leather trim with the embossed Ferrari logo that proudly pronounced its brand name in an unobtrusive and elegant way. no doubt its going to contradict whatever bike you may ride but still it lets you stand out wherever you go. finally, completeling the exterior is an outer shell made out of advanced thermoplastic polymer with a high gloss scratch-resistant finish.
the visor is fabricated using injection moulded scratched-resistant polycarbonate that also offers excellent visibility in all conditions and the aluminum catch holds the sliding visor in place. comfort of the wearer is not neglected as well. a two-tone Dupont technical fabric that embodies both antiallergic and antistatic properties lined the inside of this exquisite helmet. currently, two colors are being offered for this helmet: black or gray. it would be great if it comes in the familiar Ferrari red. isn’t it? the Ferrari Style Helmet by NewMax is available now via the Ferrari web store for just $356.31 or €249,17.
