Folks, this is the Sharge 100 W Transparent Power Bank (officially Storm 2, model: STM2-2). While we can’t attest to its performance, one thing for sure is, this power bank ranks high on the ultimate geeky gadget chart (note: not a real chart).
How is it super cool, needs not further detailing. I mean, seriously, how is seeing the innards of a power bank not cool? Completing the uber geeky look is a functional IPS color screen displays important parameters, including input/output power, temperatures, balanced charge et cetera.
Beyond the hard-to-take-your-eyes-off aesthetic, the product is a beast of power bank. As the product name suggests, this is a huge power bank capable of outputting up to 100 W.
Under the hood, it packs a 25,600 mAh/93.5 Wh lithium battery pack and a circuitry that could potentially charged up a 4,000 mAh battery-equipped phone in just 10 minutes.
With respect to the I/Os, the Sharge 100 W Transparent Power Bank is equipped 1x USB-C input/output port, 1x USB-C output port, 1x DC input/output port and 1x USB-A output port.
The fact that it is capable of outputting 3-25V DC, it will have many gadgets including cameras and whatnot – in addition to a variety of smartphones and laptops.
Speaking of which, it supports several fast charging standards, including PD, QC and PPS, and finally, this little big guy can totally charge and discharge at the same time.
All these features and capabilities are packed in a size no bigger than a 330 ml soda can (151 x 59 x 46 mm or 5.9 x 2.3 x 1.8 inches) and weighs in at 579g (about 20 ounces).
The Sharge 100 W Transparent Power Bank is available in China via Tmall.com, and it has a starting price of 1,299 yuan (roughly US$200). Starting price because, there’s a “deluxe” edition which comes with a 100 W charging brick and a 100 W charging cable.
