Shin Ultraman Teaser Trailer 3 Video

Here’s awesome news for Ultraman fans who can’t get enough of Hideaki Anno’s Shin Ultraman or for fans who did not catch it when hitting theaters in May, in Japan. The movie will start streaming on Prime Video on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Shin Ultraman, which was written and produced by Neon Genesis Evangelion’s creator Hideaki Anno and directed by Shin Godzilla’s co-director Shinji Higuchi, has grossed 4.4 billion yen (about US$30 million) so far from the Japanese domestic market and it is still being showed in theaters around the world.

Even if you have watched it, you can relive the movie all over again and as many times as you desire on Prime Video as long as you are a member. Amazon has secured the exclusive rights to stream on its platform. Though, it is not clear if it will be available to Prime Video members outside of Japan.

Our understanding is that the news was for the Japanese market and so we are not 100% sure if it will apply to Prime Video US and other regions. But there’s always VPN to get around it (you didn’t hear that from us).

Anyhoo, we find no announcement on Amazon, and no trailer was offered on Prime Video’s YouTube channel as they did for the Evangelion franchise last year, and so we are going to assume it is not available outside of Japan. At least, not yet. Meanwhile, you can get yourself re-acquaint with the movie in the official trailer below.
