Remember the Sony LinkBuds S that wants you to have “a never-off experience”? If you haven’t scored one already (but have always wanted to), you may want to know a couple of months ago, Sony introduced a new “Earth Blue” model. This latest colorway of Sony’s smallest and lightest noise-canceling truly wireless headphones is made from plastic water dispensers.

Parts of the body and case of the Sony LinkBuds S “Earth Blue” model are made using recycled resin material generated from plastic water coolers. In addition to helping to direct some plastic away from landfills, the recycled plastic offers a surprisingly cool finish of a blue-ish marble pattern, with each individual product designed to have a different pattern.

As before, the LinkBuds series comes with plastic-free packaging and the headphones feature recycled materials from automobile parts. Finally, with the sale of each pair of LinkBuds S, US$2 will go towards marine conversation activities.

Beyond the green efforts, the Sony LinkBuds S “Earth Blue” TWS Earbuds are pretty much the same as the original which we shall not regurgitate.

Anyways, there is more good news. The Sony LinkBuds S “Earth Blue” TWS Earbuds can now be had at a discounted price of US$149.99 (U.P. US$199.99) a pair across all colors (i.e. Black, White, and Earth Blue).
